Mark Green - 40 years in the timber trade today!

Mark Green started his career in the timber trade 40 years ago today at Emanuel Whittaker Limited. Starting as a Joinery Estimator Trainee, Mark quickly worked his way up the ladder to become Joinery Manager & before long was responsible for a workforce of approx. 50 people. Mark has been a key part of Prowood’s sales team for 10 years. He is driven, organised, hard working well respected within the business.
Here are some of Mark’s career project highlights:
Victoria Square – Manchester
Mark was responsible for specifying, pricing, measuring, production, programming, liaising with main contractor and installation of approx. £750,000.00 of sliding sash windows to conform with listed building regulations.
Alder Hey Children’s Hospital – Liverpool
Mark secured one of the largest Western Red Cedar cladding projects in the UK. Over 5500m2 of machined, #2 clear & better, Kiln Dried and Factory Finished Western Red Cedar cladding.
Mark said “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the past 40 years. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people & I feel lucky to have had 40 years of consecutive employment in the timber trade”.
