Thermally Modified Radiata Pine is comparable to Western Red Cedar and Siberian Larch, suited to projects demanding high quality aesthetics alongside durability and stability. Thermally Modified Radiata Pine is a durable product suitable for interior and exterior application without treatment and is offered clear 3 sides, virtually clear of knots.
Benefits of thermal modification in timber:
- Higher resistance to decay, rot, fungi & insect attack.
- Very low moisture content.
- Increased stability / low movement.
- Consistency in colour (golden brown) throughout the board weathering to a silvery-grey colour when exposed to sunlight.

Common sawn/nominal sizes are 25x150/200, 32x150 and 50x150.
